In grade 10 learners are taught how to wire domestic installations. In grade 11 learners learn the fundamentals of heavy current; where it is used as well as how the generation process works. In grade 12 learners are taught how to design basic logic functions that are used in the programming of traffic lights.

When learners complete their matric year, they are able to apply for studying Electrical engineering or electrical artisanship where the field is divided in sub-categories. Learners can become Aviation Engineers, have a career with Eskom, become an IT Specialists or qualify as an Electrician. Fields are endless.
